Frequently asked questions

A sole proprietor in Poland is the simplest form of doing business. Here it is called Jednosobowa działalność gospodarcza (sole proprietorship), i.e. a profit-making activity that is run individually by one person in his/her own name and under his/her own responsibility.

Unlike a company. In case of a sole proprietorship, all administrative procedures are simplified to the maximum extent possible so that everyone can start a business without any difficulties.

There is no definite answer to the question which form of business is better – it all depends on the activity you plan to do. For small businesses, opening a sole proprietorship in Poland is much easier from the point of view of business administration, but sometimes it is necessary to register a company.

Our experts are ready to review your situation, consult you on choosing the best form of business activity and tell you what taxes an entrepreneur has to pay.

Having a Polish Card greatly simplifies the process of moving to Poland. The holder of such a card can obtain a national visa to enter the country, register a sole proprietorship in Poland, have free access to the labour market and the possibility to obtain a permanent residence card.

You can, but we do not recommend doing it on your own with the help of instructions in chats or stories of people you know. However, the process itself is quite simple, but there are some nuances that need to be taken into account when filling in the CEIDG-1 form (how to register yourself and your family in ZUS, which taxation system and activity code to choose, from which date it is better to register, etc.) It is better to contact us: our lawyers will advise you on the specifics of doing business in Poland, will tell you about the nuances of paying taxes and will help you to register a sole proprietorship on biznes.gov.pl via video link online step by step.

An IT specialist opens a sole proprietorship and concludes a B2B contract with his employer. This option of cooperation is currently the most favourable for both parties in terms of taxation and at the same time fully complies with the requirements of Polish law.
